"Heroes" Secret Revealed - Who is the Most Powerful Hero?

Published on 27/2/07 in Television
Matthew uncovers the who the most powerful Hero is on NBC's "Heroes."

After watching every episode of Heroes multiple times in succession and examining every fact, symbol, and recurring element in the show, I believe I have uncovered a secret that the producers want to keep hidden until the second or third season.

It is my belief that there is a hero more powerful than all the other heroes combined, including Sylar and Peter Petrelli.

This hero is Mr. Muggles.

Below are the reasons I believe Mr. Muggles is the most powerful hero on the show:

  1. Matt has psychic powers, but cannot read Mr. Muggle's thoughts.
  2. Mr. Muggles appears to be the loving center of the Bennet family that ties them together, possibly representing the disfunctional unity of the heroes.
  3. One of Haiti's primary exports is a gelatin commonly used in expensive dog food for yap-yap dogs (possible link with the Haitian).
  4. According to Sandra Bennet (Claire's mom), Mr. Muggles has won five local all-breed rallies and two regional all-breed rallies.  Pretty gifted for a yap-yap dog, no?

Mr Muggles and Claire learning about manatees - A dog that can read?!

  5. Mr. Muggles has survived an encounter, completely unscathed, with the two most dangerous characters on the show: Sylar and the radioactive man.
  6. Mr. Muggles has exhibited vampire-like qualities, possibly to absorb the powers of the other heroes:1x01mrmugglesblood_400

  7. In episode 15, Claire's mom recognizes Mr. Muggles as a threat and Claire discovers her in the kitchen screaming at him in horror.  Minutes later, Claire's mom appears to forget the incident and becomes complacent and loving (Mr. Muggles erasing her memory?).
  8. Pomeranians were originally part of another breed of dog called the "German Spitz," and the pomeranian breed did not emerge until the 19th century.  This is clearly an allusion to the emergence of the heroes' abilities in the 21st century.
  9. Sylar uses Mr. Muggles as an excuse to get into the Bennet house.  A closer look reveals Mr. Muggles is the one in control.

  10. After Claire's mom collapses in the kitchen, instead of expressing concern for his loving owner, Mr. Muggles demonstrates sociopathic tendencies by happily drinking milk from the floor.
  11. In episode 17 while inside the Bennet Home, Matt states: "They clearly love their dog more than they love their own children; just look at all the pictures they have of him on their walls." Matt has apparently learned who Claire's dad is really protecting.
  12. Mr. Muggles is immortalized in a painting hanging in the Bennets' home.  Loving gesture...or the work of Issac Mendez?  You decide.

Very astute. Keep in mind, too, that there are many times when you can't see Mr. Muggles on screen. He's there, though. Only, he's invisible. Written on 28/2/07
Mr.Muggles is the real hero but not a dog he maybe it's a methamorph and take the form of a dog to save the world, because in dog form (he or she) can defeat sylar Written on 28/2/07
Does that mean if Peter gets near Mr. Muggles, he'll absorb the ability to eat dook and hump the couch? Written on 1/3/07
